Biography
Dr. Razavi completed her Doctor of Psychology Degree (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies after having completed her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University.
Her interest in attending California Institute of Integral Studies was to explore the concept of integrating Eastern and Western Psychology.
She believes in providing compassionate psychotherapy to individuals, families, and couples. She works to individualize each treatment to fit the client's needs. As a result, her treatment approach varies as she uses integrative approaches to psychotherapy by drawing from psychodynamic, family systems, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approach. Although her treatment approach varies, she firmly believes in the importance of getting to know the whole person and their uniqueness, and removing labels and judgments associated with it.
She has helped people with a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, sexual concerns, substance use/harm, and the process of coming to terms with difficult and traumatic life situations. The approach offered extends further in helping people discover and develop a more lively and authentic sense of self, which in turn brings a sense of deeper meaningfulness and engagement in life.

Mission statement
Psychology Center of ACH strives to create a safe, accepting, and nurturing space by cultivating a non judgmental environment in order to safely explore the source of the pain and suffering one is experiencing. The goal is to be able to safely explore without judgment, resulting in necessary change and growth, in order to achieve one's full potential.
As an integrative therapist with a humanistic framework, I look at the whole person and their uniqueness as an individual in all their complexity in order to be successful in understanding the root causes of their problems or distress. The goals are not determined by the theoretical frame but by the client based on their presenting problems, desire, and motivation. The heart of the therapy here is in the therapeutic relationship and collaboration to understand the problem and symptoms, work on acceptance on letting go of resistance to what can't be changed, and choose the most appropriate therapeutic technique to execute. I offer an inclusive and diverse range of intervention to assist individuals, couples and families with the goal to alleviate suffering and pain and to approach change.
